Stay at Ocean 105

My wife and I have been coming to Aruba for close to 20 years. We have stayed at the big hotels and some of the smaller accommodations on the island. We started staying at Ocean 105 three years ago shortly after it opened and hope to continue our annual stays in Aruba at Ocean 105. It is a beautiful quaint accommodation and is very well kept. The owner Raymond is an excellent host and very friendly. Albert and Gemma are always courteous and ensure that your needs are taken care of. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended!!

Thank you for your hospitality, just returned home (brrrr ) after a two week stay at ocean 105, we stayed in a courtyard apartment, very nice, nice place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The two upstairs apartments have a magnificent ocean view, by choice take one of those. Everyone has access to the upstairs balcony to take in the wonderful view and sunset. If you enjoy peace and quiet,snorkeling,diving, but just a short drive from the high and low rise resorts this is the place for you. Highly recommended. Edna and Bryon Ontario Canada

January 2010 at Ocean 105

We traveled with our 8 month old twins and couldn't have asked for a better family vacation. The location was perfect for those who love the ocean and snorkeling/diving. Gina took wonderful care of us. The villa was clean and family friendly. Raymond, the owner, made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

Ocean 105

We would come back here in a moment notice. The location is fabulous! The space roomy. The quiet and privacy priceless. The location is fabulous! Gina, the maid, is a sweet pleasant and helpfull woman. The location is fabulous! Next to one of the nicest beaches on the island!

PERFECT Honeymoon at Ocean 105

We had a great stay in Rachel's Apartment (which was a free upgrade!) and had great service from Alfred, Gemma, and Gina. Arashi beach was right around the corner and was BEAUTIFUL as well is snorkelicious. Beautiful sunsets from our porch (facing right out over the ocean) and great proximity to everywhere we wanted to go. We rented a car (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!) and it was just a few minutes drive to the hirise and lowrise hotels, restaurants, the airport, and restaurants. (Literally 5-15 minutes.

We were given a cell phone to use during our stay and we made special arrangements with Alfred to have champagne and chocolate waiting for us in the room when we arrived. We also negotiated free of charge to have Gina clean the rooms on a daily basis (which was great!).

We did a lot in one week in Aruba. We rode horses in a cactus forest and on the beach with ranchos notorios (highly recommended). We went to the butterfly museum (somewhat forgettable). The best restaurant we went to was The Flying Fishbone (wonderful). We highly recommend Ocean 105 and Aruba Happy Rentals and Aruba overall!

One thing to note is that the car security devices at Amiga car rental (and probably the other car rental companies) need to be explained before leaving the airport, Soon after we left for Ocean 105 we stopped by the side of the road to take some pictures nd could not get the car started! We called Alfred and he without hesitation promised to come pick us up. Meanwhile Amiga car rental came and brought us a new better car and actually showed us how to use the security feature. So it ended up ok, and Alfred didn't need to pick us up, but it was the thought that counted.

Have not left yet, and already a great experience

Thanks to the favorable comments from fellow TA fans, I contacted Ocean 105 for a trip in April. We may not be able to come afterall, but I wanted to write and say what a wonderful experience the booking process has been. Albert has been a joy to work with, calling me personally to check dates and give us information about Aruba. Trying to decide on a destination will make your head explore - Albert made it easier.

Excellent for a two couple get-away!

Had a great experience at 105 Ocean. Two couples fit perfectly in an upstairs apartment. It was close to a great beach and off the beaten tourist path on the North end of the island. Definitely recommend this over one of the high rise resorts. The property manager Lynn is awesome and very helpful about places to see and dine in Aruba.

Loved Ocean 105

1st time in Aruba for our family of four. Thanks to all the great reviews on tripadvisor.com we chose Ocean 105 for the first part of our 1 week stay and we all loved it. We first overlooked it as it was listed as a B&B, and we later realized it's really apartments. We stayed in Raymond's apartment an upstairs 2BR/2 full baths with an incredible view of the coastline. Being right next to Boca Catalina was good for snorkelling, also close to Arashi Beach, another good snorkelling spot. Saw lots of fish, small eels, starfish, sea turtle, squid and more. Our thanks to Lynn who is a wonderful host. We were sorry to leave so soon. We would stay here again, in a heartbeat! * Liked — entire aptmt. esp. the view * Disliked — minor - internet dropped sometimes but they were great about restarting router

Pure Relaxation

Drove up the coast of Aruba and this beautiful piece of property caught the eye. Lynn showed us the room, you can't help but immediately smile. Brand new kitchen, bedroom, shower and a great price. Two New Yorkers in love found all the amenities of home without staying in a high rise hotel. Located three steps from the beach. Wish we had prolonged our stay.
